Administering Task Scheduler using Computer Management

Using Computer Management, you can do the following to a local or remote computer console:

• Stop, start, or pause the Task Scheduler service
• Specify start parameters for the Task Scheduler service
• Specify logon settings for the Task Scheduler service
• Select the computer's response if the Task Scheduler service fails
• Set or verify dependencies for the Task Scheduler service

• The Task Scheduler Properties (computername) dialog box is in the Services snap-in. To make the dialog box available in MMC, you must add the Services snap-in to your Computer Management console.
